Casco – Phyllis M. Kinley Wahl died peacefully in her sleep on April 27, at the home of her daughter, Gwenneth Akers, with whom she had resided for the past six years.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1914, in Whittenburgh, Nova Scotia, to Seward G. Pulsifer and Bertha Bates Pulsifer, one of a family of seven children. She attended school in Brookvale, Nova Scotia, and later taught school herself in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

She was predeceased by her first husband, F. Stewart Kinley Jr., and is survived by their children, F.Stewart Kinley and his wife, Linda, of Fairfield, Donna and her husband, Patrick, of Franklin, Mass., and Gwenneth Akers of Casco.

She was predeceased by brothers, Alden, Orville and Cecil Pulsifer; and by sisters, Rene Chandler, Blanche White and Eva Nicolle. She was also predeceased by her second husband, Richard K. Wahl; and his daughter, Eleanor Murray and her husband, Bruce, of Port Prange, Fla.

She was a member of the Casco Village Church, United Church of Christ and last atteneed services on Easter Sunday when the unveiling of the new refurbished sanctuary took place.

She was a member of the Prayer Shawl minstry of that church and had completed some 20 Prayer Shawls in the past months. She loved people, parties, friends and fun. She especially loved her children, grandchildren greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed immensley the lost art of letter writing and corresponded with many friends and relatives all over the country. She will be missed with tears and smiles by all those who loved and cherished her.
