ALLENSTOWN, N.H. (AP) – The body of a missing New Hampshire hunter found in Bear Book State Park has been identified.

State Fish and Game Lt. Kevin Jordan says an autopsy revealed 70-year-old Russell Bussiere died of natural causes.

A volunteer found Bussiere’s body was dressed in camouflage with a hunting rifle across his chest Sunday morning.

Bussiere went hunting in the park in December and never returned. Family and friends called off the search for him during harsh winter weather.

This weekend they reinstated the search.
