AUBURN – William Earl Barker Sr. went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, April 27.

He was born Feb. 6, 1941, in South Paris, the son of Leeland King Barker and Norma Scribner. He was raised in the Oxford Hills area. He met the love of his life Phyllis Pearl Lord and made her his wife on Feb. 6, 1965. Together they devoted their lives to their 16 children, 42 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

“Pa” was a gentle, loving man who could be seen out delivering food to people in need. He was an active member of the Grace Fellowship Church for more than 20 years. His music of praise will be sadly missed.
