Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 held installation of officers for 2008-2009 on April 13, with a brunch served before the ceremony. Installation duties were performed by past exalted rulers of the lodge. Officers installed were Exalted Ruler Kurt Pitts, Leading Knight Sandra Welch, Lecturing Knight Shirley Kennedy, Secretary Debi Briggs, Treasurer James White, Tiler George Wyman, Chaplain Theodore Hotham and Trustees Donald Hopkins, Richard Welch, Ann White, Lewis Irish and Albert Pomerleau.
