AUBURN – Ruby E. McLaren, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 27, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin.

She was born on Nov. 30, 1925, in Harrison, daughter of Guy and Georgia Andrews. She worked most of her life at Harrison school and at summer camps, Cornwall Industries and as a certified nursing assistant at Market Square Health Care.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gordon McLaren of Harrison; six children, Clyde L. Stanton and wife, Carla, of Poland, Donna Cash and husband, Joseph, of Florida, Paul Stanton and wife, Betty, of South Carolina, Martha Storey and husband, Edward and Bruce Stanton and Matthew Stanton, all of Harrison; a brother, Louis Andrews of Harrison; sister, Ruth Roberts of Florida; sister-in-law, Alice Thomas of Florida; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Harry and Bud; two sisters, Clara Roberts and Gladis Allen; and two grandchildren.
