LIVERMORE FALLS – Voters here will face only one contest when they head to the polls on June 10 to elect school and town officials.
Incumbent Selectman Melanie Rounds is being challenged by former Selectman Bill Demaray for a three-year term on the Board of Selectmen. Demaray decided not to run last year after spending 15 years on the board, some as chairman.
Select board Chairwoman Jackie Knight is running for a two-year seat on the board.
Town Clerk/Treasurer Kristal Flagg is seeking re-election to a three-year term.
Incumbent SAD 36 directors Denise Rodzen and Elaine LaPointe are seeking re-election for the two, three-year terms they hold now.
No one is seeking election to a third, three-year seat on the school board. The seat is currently held by Warren Bryant, she said.
