LEWISTON – Dick Albert has joined the team at Champoux Insurance Agency, 416 Sabattus St. He has worked in the insurance industry and the Lewiston-Auburn community for more than 30 years. Albert started his career working for Maurice Champoux when he entered the insurance profession.

A native of Lewiston-Auburn, Albert has served as campaign chairman of the United Way, as a Lewiston city councilor, school board member, Androscoggin County Chamber chairman, and KORA Shriner.

He also served as president for the Maine Insurance Agents Association and as state national director of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
