LISBON FALLS – Lisbon High School Assistant Principal Warren Galway presented the third Helping Hand Award to Emily Fuller, a member of the junior class, on April 17.
The award was established last year to recognize those students who go above and beyond to help the school, their class and/or community. The award is not based on academics.
“Emily was nominated by her English teacher, Seth Mitchell,” said Galway. “Emily makes a point of cheerfully completing tasks in the classroom that the teacher forgets (watering plants, emptying the recycling bins) during the week. “Congratulations, Emily, Job well done,” commented Galway during the presentation.
