WALES – Nancy G. Danforth, 68, a resident of Leeds Junction Road, Wales, passed away at May 1, at her home.

She was born Feb. 6, 1940, in Litchfield, the daughter of Edward and Frances Ridley Ivers. She attended school in Sabattus.

On Jan, 9, 1957, in Wales, she and Erlon Danforth were married. She and her husband, Erlon have run Danforth’s Used Furniture Store in Wales since 1966. She enjoyed going to garage sales, playing Yatzee with her husband, watching “The Price is Right” and her soap operas, “Guiding Light,” “Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and Beautiful.”

She survived by her husband, Erlon Danforth of Wales; a son, Gary Danforth and his wife, Melody, of Wales; a sister, Shirley Frost and her husband, Donald, of Wales; three grandchildren, Andrea Moore and her husband, Rodney, of Poland, Trish Trembley and her husband, Steve, of Lewiston and Gary Danforth Jr. and his wife, Tammy Lynn, of Monmouth; 10 great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Jennifer, Harley, Skyler, Gage, Cameron, Emily, Joshua, Ashley and Hailey; and a very good friend, Burt Ringuette of Winthrop.
