DIXFIELD – Morgan Hutchins’ single scored Katrina Pulk and Lanette Bryant with the tying and winning runs with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Dirigo to a 8-7 triumph over Livermore Falls.
The Andies (1-2) had snapped a 6-6 tie in the top of the seventh when a double by Britteny Souther and single by Kayla Wilson scored Samantha Greenwood, who had reached on a fielder’s choice.
Hutchins finished with three hits and Bryant added two for the Cougars (1-2). Katherine Lake led Livermore Falls with three hits, while Souther had two.
St. Dom’s 15, NYA 1
AUBURN – St. Dom’s was held to two hits, but took full advantage of 17 base on balls to walk away with a 15-1 softball victory over winless North Yarmouth Academy on Friday.
Mary Lewis hit a solo home run for the Saints (3-0), while Kelsey Murphy singled for the only other hit. Jen Cullen tossed a one-hitter and struck out five.
Jay 19, Wiscasset 5
JAY – Betsy Gemelli belted two doubles and a triple and drove in five runs to lead Jay to a 19-5 victory over Wiscasset.
The game was tied at 3-3 when the Tigers (3-2) broke the game open with three runs in the fourth and four more in fifth. Zena Armandi, Alexii Smith, Tasha Hebert and Gemelli each had three hits for Jay, while Brittany Dipompo and Daydra Loon added two each.
Smith struck out 10 and walked two for the victory.
Gray-NG 8, Poland 3
POLAND – Pitcher Laura Getchell hit a two-run triple and Kassi Wilson added a two-run double to highlight a five-run outburst in the eighth inning to lead Gray-New Gloucester to an 8-3 triumph over Poland.
Poland (1-4) sent the game to extra innings with a three-run rally in the seventh, with Courtney Gray hitting a single to knock in Tessa Massetta with the tying run. Getchell struck out 16 batters.
Alicia Valentine, Wilson and Natalie Tombareil had two hits apiece for Gray-NG (1-2), while Massetta and Kristy Gray had two each for the Knights.
Fryeburg 6, Falmouth 1
FALMOUTH – Pitcher Hannah Hill struck out 12 batters and gave up only two walks as Fryeburg spread out seven key hits to slip away from Falmouth, 6-1, in a softball game Friday.
The undefeated Raiders (5-0) scored three runs in the third inning and committed only two errors. Hill had two singles and drove in four runs.
Messalonskee 9, Mt. Blue 7
FARMINGTON – Messalonskee took advantage of a pair of errors in the top of the ninth inning that contributed to two runs in defeating Mt. Blue 9-7 in a KVAC girls’ softball game Friday.
The Eagles scored the winning run on a two-out, infield error, and Kris Lawler plated an insurance run with a bases-loaded walk. Juliana Fekete paced the Eagles with a double among her three hits. Kim Hunt picked up the win in relief.
Amelia Allen led the Cougars (0-6) with three hits and her RBI double in the sixth sent the game into extra innings. Katrina Campbell (0-3) suffered the loss in relief.
Lewiston 11, Morse 10
BATH – Courtney Valley scored on an outfield error with two outs in the seventh inning to culminate a two-run rally in the seventh inning to lift Lewiston to an 11-10 come-from-behind victory over Morse.
The Shipbuilders (4-2) took advantage of extra-base hits and some early wildness by Lewiston pitcher Danielle Willey to open a 10-5 lead after four innings.
The Blue Devils (5-1) scratched back with three in the fifth and one in the sixth to pull within one. Then in the seventh, Willey and Valley led off with consecutive singles. After Willey scored the tying run on a fielder’s choice, Valley trotted home with the game-winner on Carley Denis’ deep fly to center that was dropped.
Michelle Caron led the Lewiston offense with two doubles and a single. Erica Morin also had two singles.
Oxford Hills 7, EL 4
SOUTH PARIS – Oxford Hills rallied from a three-run deficit with a five-run outburst in the fourth inning to fight back for a 7-4 victory over Edward Little.
Lana Wheeler’s RBI double was the big hit in the fourth inning for Oxford Hills (5-1), which also took advantage of a pair of errors in the inning.
Kristy Jurczak struck out 10 for the victory. Miranda Martin fired a six-hitter in the loss. Megan Gauger had a triple for the Vikings, while Alicia Read led EL with a double and Megan Hussar and Jana Dubois had two singles each.
Medomak Valley 3, Oak Hill 2
WALES – Rachel Keefe hit a two-run homer with two outs in the seventh inning to rally Medomak Valley to a 3-2 victory over Oak Hill.
Tessa Dodge hit a solo homer to give Medomak a 1-0 lead, but Oak Hill (1-1) answered on consecutive doubles by Becca Roberts and Lauren Hall, followed by Deidre Dubuc’s RBI single.
Jessica Koon got the win in relief for the Panthers (3-0).
Lisbon 6, Mt. Abram 5
LISBON – Lisbon held off a Mt. Abram rally in the final two innings to escape with a 6-5 triumph.
The Greyhounds (3-0) were led by Christy McAuliffe with two doubles and three RBIs. Emily Moore fanned eight and did not walk a batter. Kenni Norton and Jillian Withee had doubles for Mt. Abram.

Lewiston 19, Mountain Valley 7
RUMFORD – Michelle Rancourt and Shelby Turcotte scored four goals apiece to lead Lerwiston to a 19-7 victory over Mountain Valley.
The Blue Devils (3-1) took command early by opening a 12-4 lead by halftime. Kirby Rodrigue and Olivia Fournier added three goals each, while Andrea Dibello and Lysa Laverdiere each had two. Stephanie Belanger had seven saves.
Mountain Valley (0-3) was led by Brittany Coulombe’s four goals. Tia White added two.
