Auburn – Mechanics Savings Bank has recently promoted Stacie Brown to assistant vice president/operations manager at its Auburn branch at 100 Minot Ave. In this position, Brown is responsible for loan and deposit operations.

Since joining Mechanics Savings Bank in September 2000, Brown has held numerous positions including teller, loan operations and, most recently, supervisor of loan operations.

Brown is a graduate of the Auburn Lewiston Leadership Institute, and holds an associate’s degree in business administration and a degree in travel and tourism. Brown resides in Auburn with her husband, Roland.
