AUBURN – Richard and Rita Keene of Turner are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Kendra Keene of Auburn, to Christopher Bailey of Auburn, son of Paul and Ursula Bailey of Auburn.

Miss Keene is a 2003 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is currently working as a registered nurse on the cardiac floor at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.

Mr. Bailey is a 2003 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a minor in business. He is currently working as a computer programmer for the state of Maine in Augusta.

The couple met and started dating in high school. Their wedding will be held at 4:30 p.m., Aug. 16, at Turner Highlands.
