DIXFIELD – A Trike-A-Thon benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be held on Friday, May 9, at the Robbins Nest.
The Trike-A-Thon is designed to teach preschoolers to use riding toys safely through week-long activities. It also provides a parent awareness program that involves the parents in safe behavior practices to help ensure their child’s well being.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is recognized for its pioneering work in finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. St. Jude shares its discoveries with scientific and medical communities around the world.
No family pays for treatments not covered by insurance, and families without insurance are never asked to pay. St. Jude is financially supported by ALSAC, its fundraising organization, through events such as the Trike-A-Thon.
Those interested in making a donation should call Jessica Robbins at 562-8500. For more information, visit www.stjude.org/trike.
