VALATIE, N.Y. – Delcia M. (Ouellette) Warrington, 89, of Valatie, died Monday, Jan. 28, at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Van Buren, Feb. 25, 1918, the daughter of the late Denis and Rosa (Castonguay) Ouellette. Del was a waitress at the Candlelight Inn and Winding Brook Country Club in Valatie, N.Y., and was a self-employed caterer in the area for more than 20 years.

She was a member of the Niverville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary, a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Valatie, and a member of St. John’s Elves.

She is survived by two daughters, Katherine Rosbrook (Richard) of Kinderhook, N.Y., and Mary Jane Stillman (James) of Kirkwood, N.Y.; a son, Robert J. Warrington (Patricia) of Valatie; three sisters, Rita and Aldea Cloutier, both of Lewiston and Lorette Boucher of Valatie; five grandchildren, Robert (Emily) and Craig (Christine) Warrington, Kelly (Rudy) Firmbach, Shannon Rosbrook and Colleen (Kevin) Bates; four great-grandchildren, Allyson and Ryan Firmbach, Jesse Warrington and Mitchel Smith-Warrington; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Brenda Warrington.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Warrington; and 13 brothers and sisters.
