NORWAY – Dr. Walter L. Novey has been hired by Stephens Memorial Hospital in its Emergency Department.

Novey was most recently attending physician at Mercy Hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine. He received his medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and completed his internship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and his residency in primary care internal medicine at Yale University.

He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is currently certified to teach advanced cardiovascular life support training and advanced trauma life support. Novey also holds certifications in pediatric advanced life support and advanced life support in obstetrics.
