PORTLAND – Pitcher Chris Tillman hurled six scoreless innings and collected six strikouts to beat the Sea Dogs for the second time in 10-days as Bowie notched a 7-3 victory to clinch the season-series with their fourth straight win over Portland.

The Baysox (19-16) provided a little fireworks of their own in a five-run third inning off pitcher Dustin Richardson on Fireworks’ Friday at Hadlock Field. Richardson suffered his third loss in four starts, surrendering eight runs on six hits and leaving the game after five innings with Bowie leading 6-0. The Sea Dogs (20-14) scored twice in the seventh inning on a two-out, two-run double by Ryan Khoury. Andrew Pinckney added a run-scoring single in the ninth inning with two outs.
