AUBURN – The wedding of Maria Suzanne Kovacs and Shane Jeino Koski was held at 11 a.m. July 28 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. The Rev. Barbara L. Barth officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Koski is the daughter of Peter Kovacs of Auburn and the late Esther K. Kovacs. Mr. Koski is the son of Jake and Claire Koski of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory gown with beaded bodice and beaded floral trim and she carried a homemade floral arrangement made by the mother of the bridegroom.

The bride’s best friend, Kellie M. Parent, served as honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Aimee Poulin, Jennifer Skye and Jenny Hunter, friends.

The brother of the bridegroom, Kevin Koski, was best man. Ushers were Jake Ference, Matthew Graugard and Ethan LaRochelle.

A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Lewiston. The couple is planning a trip to Florida in January of 2009. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in English. She is employed in the financial aid office at the University of Southern Maine.

The bridegroom is a 2004 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is self-employed.
