LIVERMORE FALLS – Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, for Edith B. Damon at Finley Funeral Home in Livermore Falls. Officiating the service was the Rev. Ami Sawtelle. Organist Susan Boothby played musical selections, “In the Garden,” “Spirit Song” and “Amazing Grace.” Laurie Damon read the gospel reading: John 14:1-4, 18-19 and 25-27. Ervin Prescott and Janice (Damon) Hein recited the commendation, other special thoughts and memories were shared by Beth Damon and Elizabeth (Damon) Weaver. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Richard, Rebecca, Beth and Jack Damon, Amanda and Yamil Peralta, Alex, Ben and Ellen Weaver, and Alison and Brandon Michaud. Pansies in Edith’s memory were distributed at the end of the service by Diane Brown. Interment Pleasant Valley Cemetery, East Livermore.
