CONCORD, N.H. (AP) – A former administrator with the New Hampshire Department of Corrections has filed a lawsuit against the state claiming she was fired for criticizing her boss.
Les Dolecal of Tilton filed the lawsuit Thursday, six months after she was fired. She claims Commissioner William Wrenn resented her for having more knowledge and experience.
Before coming to New Hampshire, Dolecal served as deputy director of the Oregon Department of Corrections. Wrenn, a career police officer, served as the Hampton police chief for 10 years before becoming commissioner in 2005.
