Line dancing

RUMFORD – Line dancing will resume on Tuesday, May 13, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Rumford Methodist Church, Linnell Street. Beginner dancers are welcome. Call Gloria at 364-4883 for more information.

Class luncheon

RUMFORD – The Stephens High School Class of 1948 will meet for a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Route 2 Diner. Those who plan to attend should call Bev at 364-4085.

Cemetery meeting

RUMFORD – The annual meeting of the Rumford Center Cemetery Association will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, at the Rumford Center Town Hall.

MEXICO – The Mexico High School Class of 1959 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, at the Covered Wagon Restaurant.

Trash cleanup

RUMFORD – Trash cleanup along the river bank will take place form 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 17. Everyone is invited to meet in the parking lot across from the Eagles.

League to begin

RUMFORD – The Rumford/Mexico Horseshoe Club will started Monday at Hosmer Field for pre-season pitching.

New players are welcome and the league is open to adults of all skill levels. The normal season lasts 15 weeks throughout the summer and participants need to have played at least 12 games to qualify for the year-end tourney. League nights are 6 p.m. Mondays, with a rain day of Tuesdays. For more information, call Arty at 545-2641.
