NORWAY – L.F. Pike (the Blue Store) will host a “Cruise In” from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 16, in the parking lot next to Pike’s on Main Street. Street rods, hot rods and classic cars of all shapes, sizes and vintages are invited and will be on display for the public. Bicycles, skateboards and pets on leashes are discouraged.

Music will be provided; there will be door prizes, raffles and special registration packets for the first 50 cars that sign in.

The Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School SkillsUSA Team will hold a grill and bake sale from 4 to 7 p.m. to raise funds for their trip to the national competition in Kansas City.

Norway-Paris Lions Club will be on hand with raffles and membership information. Other civic organizations are invited to sign up to have displays.

Rain date will be Saturday, May 17.

Event planners hope this is the beginning of many events that give residents an excuse to visit downtown.
