AUBURN – Richard A. Woodworth, 67, a resident of 8 Sheldon Place, Lewiston died Monday, May 12, at the Hospice House with family by his side.
He was born in Lewiston, Oct. 14, 1940, the son of William K. and Charlotte (Westleigh) Woodworth. He attended Auburn schools and was a 1958 graduate of Edward Little High School.
He continued his education with the Maine School of Commerce, Bates College, and the University of Maine. He also was a real estate agent and a former reporter with the Sun Journal. He was also employed 20 years for Ro-Lan Associates.
He was an avid reader, who valued his education, who enjoyed collecting books and stamps.
Survivors include his mother, Charlotte Duchette of Lewiston; one brother, Robert Woodworth of Lewiston; and many aunts and uncles.
