Chelsea Manley, daughter of Jeannette Manley of Auburn and Brian Manley of Portland, received recognition at the University of New England’s spring awards convocation on April 15 at Ludcke Auditorium on the university’s Westbrook campus in Portland.

She received highest honors first year for being the first-year student at the Westbrook campus with the highest academic average.

A 2007 graduate of Edward Little High School, Manley is a major in dental hygiene and is involved at the university in Commuter Council, Peer Mentor Program and SADHA.
