Lodge degree

AUBURN – Ashlar Lodge 105, AF and AM, will work the Masonic Second Degree on Monday, May 19, at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St. There will be a supper at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will commence at 7:30 with the work to follow. Center kick-off

LISBON FALLS – The Senior Center kick-off will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the MTM Center, School Street.

The Coastal Cloggers will entertain and there will be events all day as well as outdoor activities. A free barbecue will be held at 11:3O a.m.

Cemetery cleanup

LISBON – The Lisbon Centre Cemetery Association will sponsor a work day at the cemetery in Lisbon Center at 1 p.m. Monday, June 2. Members are asked to bring the necessary tools, such as clippers, rakes, groves, trash bags and bug spray.

The group is also encouraging anyone who owns a cemetery lot or who has family in the cemetery to help with the upkeep. Over the years, brush and small trees have grown beyond the boundary fences and into the cemetery grounds. The association is trying to eliminate the problem.

After the cleanup, the group will adjourn to the meeting room of the Lisbon Historical Society at the MTM Center, Lisbon Falls, for the spring meeting. The meeting is scheduled from 3 to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Yard sale set

MECHANIC FALLS – The Ladies’ Guild at Our Lady of Ransom will hold its annual “Rent A Table” yard sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the parish hall, Elm Street. To rent a table, call Julie at 345-3876 or Josie at 345-3274. Tables are $15 each or two for $25. A light breakfast and lunch will be served.

Sodality dinner

LEWISTON – The Holy Family Ladies of St Ann Sodality will hold its annual Sodalist of the Year dinner on Tuesday, May 27, at the Green Ladle Cafe at the Lewiston High School campus on East Avenue.

Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., there will be a Mass at 5 and the meal will be served at 6. Dinner will be $15 and reservations are required. For tickets, call any board members or call Yvette at 782-3722.

Puppet show

LIVERMORE FALLS – The congregation of the Livermore United Methodist Church will attend at the Eaton Memorial United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 18, for a puppet show.

The worship service will be at 10:30 a.m. There will be no service at the Livermore church that day.
