FARMINGTON – The state education commissioner will hold a forum from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, at the University of Maine at Farmington to discuss changes to Maine’s school consolidation law.
Commissioner Susan Gendron plans to meet with members of reorganization planning committees and superintendents at four sites around the state.
The other meetings will take place in Brunswick, Ellsworth and Presque Isle.
Gendron plans to answer questions and give school officials and committee leaders an opportunity to ask for technical assistance from the state Department of Education.
The meeting at UMF will take place in the North Dining Hall on South Street.
