BRUNSWICK – Brunswick police are investigating a Sunday evening incident that resulted in the death of a young girl.

According to a news release issued by the Brunswick Police Department, 6-year-old Ashley Brock was reported missing at about 6:20 p.m. from a party at 2 Balsam Ave.

Ashley was found unresponsive in a swimming pool and taken to Mid-Coast Hospital by personnel from Brunswick Rescue, according to police. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
