LISBON FALLS – Artist Jim Nutting will create a giant, fireworks-type mobile sculpture from recycled bottles live at this year’s Business-to-Business Trade Show. But he’s looking for a little help.
“The more bottles, the bigger it will be,” said Nutting, who partners with Nel and Denise Bernard to operate the Maine Art Glass Studio in Lisbon Falls. He has been scrounging for brightly colored bottles at redemption centers, but would welcome help from the public. He’s particularly interested in blue bottles, but any colorful bottles, especially wine bottles, would be welcome. Contributions can be dropped off at the studio at 51 Main St. or people can call Nutting at 353-6700 to make arrangements.
