LIVERMORE FALLS – The railroad crossings on Main and Depot streets are scheduled to be repaired soon.
Selectmen Chairwoman Jackie Knight said the Maine Department of Transportation has awarded the contract and will be meeting later this month with everyone involved.
The DOT plans to repair the crossings on Depot Street, just before Ware-Butler Inc., and the one on Main Street near the Androscoggin Bank, she said.
Then workers will concentrate on the crossing on Bridge Street, also known as Route 4, Knight said.
