LISBON – Ninety fifth-graders from Lisbon Community School celebrated their graduation from the Lisbon DARE program on April 8 at Bates College in Lewiston.

This is the first year the program has been offered to fifth graders. Previously, students in sixth grade received the 10-week program that focuses on resisting peer pressure and the dangers of drugs and violence.

After the program, graduates and their families had lunch at the new Chase Hall at the College.
