GRAY – Jennifer Sue Lessard, 40, of Gray. Her life was taken on May 19.
She was born on July 18, 1967, in Nashua, N.H., the daughter of Kristine Skilling of Gray and Ronald Valliere of Equinunk, Pa.
She was married to Bart Bergquist in 1986, unfortunately divorcing after 16 years and married Michael Lessard, which also unfortunately ended in divorce after three years. She was a lover of Maine coon cats and raised many.
She was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She was a well-respected pharmacist for Walgreens in Windham. She previously was at Osco in Portland, Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway and Wal-Mart in Gorham, N.H.
She enjoyed being with her sons the most and spending time outside. She was a 1985 Berlin High School graduate and a track star in high school and still has a record for the 100 meter high hurdles. Her record for the 100 meter dash made in 1983, was recently broken. She enjoyed playing horseshoes on the beach on Little Sebago Lake, boating, swimming and having nightly fires at their camp The Dreamery.
There aren’t enough words to describe how big of a heart she had and how much she loved her sons.
She is survived by her sons, Logan Mitchell, John Bergquist and Mason Riley Lessard; two brothers, Jody Valliere and family, of Gray and John Valliere and family of New Gloucester; a sister, Janet Valliere and family, of Berlin, N.H.; two half sisters, Gwendolyn Brien of Goffstown, N.H., and Pamela Valliere of Quebec; along with a half brother, Roland Valliere of Quebec; her maternal grandmother, Grace Riff and paternal grandmother, Evelyn Lavigne, both reside in Berlin, N.H.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
