PARIS – Two teenagers pleaded not guilty in Oxford County Superior Court on Wednesday to attempting to rob a Rumford convenience store in March.
Alex M. Robinson, 19, of Congress Street in Rumford, and Michael A. Frost, 18, of Main Street in Dixfield, were indicted in April on charges of Class A robbery. A 43-year-old employee of Mountain Valley Variety said two men armed with what appeared to be a semiautomatic pistol demanded that he hand over his money and open the store.
When the employee refused to do either, the two men fled on foot. Frost and Robinson were arrested about a half-mile away from the store. No weapon was recovered.
