Clothes giveaway

LIVERMORE FALLS – Mizpah Circle, International Order of the King’s Daughters and Sons, will hold a clothing giveaway from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 31, in the basement of Treat Memorial Library, Main Street. The clothing will be free.

The circle will accept donations of clean used clothing from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, in its room at the library.

Museum breakfast

RANGELEY – The Wilhelm Reich Museum will host a community breakfast at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at the museum conference center on Dodge Pond Road.

The buffet breakfast will be made by volunteers. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds will benefit the museum’s scholarship program.

Each year the Wilhelm Reich Museum gives three $300 scholarships to students graduating from Rangeley Lakes Regional School. The Barbara Bruce Memorial Scholarship is given to a student interested in the arts.

The Russell Wilkinson Memorial Scholarship is for students with general interests, and the Wilhelm Reich Museum Scholarship is for a student focusing on science.

Anyone who has special dietary needs should call in advance so they can accommodate the needs. For more information, call 864-3443.

Club plans tea

FARMINGTON – The Mt. Blue Area Garden Club will meet at noon Tuesday, June 3, for the annual meeting/membership tea at Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Road. The men of the church will serve a luncheon.

Anyone wishing to reserve a lunch should call Marion Hutchinson at 645-2067 before Monday, May 26. Installation of new officers will take place. Individuals interested in joining the garden club are encouraged to attend the meeting.
