BUCKFIELD – Robert C. Noyes Sr., 68, of Buckfield, died Wednesday, May 21, at his home in Buckfield, with his loving and caring family by his side.

He was born in Norway on May 26, 1939, to Albert and Lillian (Horne) Noyes. He was a 1957 graduate of Norway High School.

He served his country in the National Guard for more than 13 years.

He worked for C.B. Cummings & Sons for 14 years, and later worked for L.M. Longley & Son as a plumber for more than 35 years, until his retirement.

He enjoyed camping, a special little boy named Freddie, and loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed telling stories to all his grandchildren. Bob was a scout leader and a member of the Buckfield Streaked Mountaineers Snowmobile Club.

He is survived by his wife, the former Pauline (Bedard) of Buckfield; two daughters, Debra L. Noyes, and Linda L. Laliberte and husband, Peter, of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sons, Robert C. Noyes Jr. and wife, Dawn, of Norway, and Gary C. Noyes and wife, Sharon, of Buckfield; three brothers, Lawrence of Limington, Bradley of Charlotte, Fla., and Thomas of Norway; five grandchildren, Robert, Savannah, Ashley, Jasmine and Dominique; and one great-grandson, Kakoa.
