How can someone survive who is 61 years old and recently lost her job? There is no help for an older, single woman who has not yet reached the age to qualify for full Social Security benefits and Medicaid.
There are many older workers who have worked all their lives in the shoe shops or mills, and have no computer skills. What can they do? Where is there a job?
The state of Maine needs to remember and help those people who have worked hard to make this state what it is today.
