OXFORD – Jessica Ann Damon and John Thomas Lyon, both of Oxford, are very proud to announce their engagement.

Miss Damon is the daughter of Genoveva M. Damon of Manassas, Va., and Leland Damon of Norway and the granddaughter of Jessie F. Damon of Norway. She is a 2005 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is employed at Norway Savings Bank of Oxford.

Mr. Lyon is the son of John and Lori Lyon of Oxford and the grandson of Thomas J. and Carmaleta Eldridge of Puryear, Tenn., and Monica and the late Wilson L. Lyon of Arundel. He is a 2005 graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School and is employed at Pepsi-Cola of Auburn.

An Aug. 9 wedding is planned.
