GORHAM (AP) – A dirt bike accident in Gorham has claimed the life of a local teenager.

Police say the 15-year-old boy, whose name was not immediately released, died late Sunday after crashing his dirt bike into a utility pole near Shaw’s Mill Road.

The boy was found unconscious and was transported to Maine Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
