SOUTH PARIS – Paul Nelson Gray, 62, of South Paris, died May 26, at home.

He was born Nov. 27, 1946, in Sanford. He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1970.

He had many interests including NASCAR, Jeff Gordon, snowmobiling, fishing and camping. He was an avid card player and music lover. His smile and laugh were contagious to all those who met him. He will be dearly missed.

Survived by his wife, Sharon; seven children; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Mary; and three sisters.

He was predeceased by his father, Roland; and daughter, Mary.
