WINDSOR – Barbara Anne Burnell Millett, 75, formerly of Augusta, passed away on May 28, after a long illness.
She was born Sept. 15, 1932, the daughter of George and Geraldine Burnell. She graduated from Deering High School in 1950, and attended Massachusetts Medical Center to become an X-ray technician.
She worked at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and at Maine Medical Center in Portland. Later she became the office manager of Bunker and Savage Architects.
She was a former member of the Vassalboro school board and the historical society. She was a supporter of the Kennebec Valley YMCA, and a member of St. Barnabas Church, Augusta.
She is survived by her son, Jonathan, and his wife, Rachel, of Windsor, and their children, Chenango, Matthew and Audrea; her daughter, Suzanne Bullett and her husband, Terence, and grandchildren, William, Peter, Sarah and Amy, all of Bethoud, Colo.; a sister, Sandra Purvis of Naples, Fla.; a brother, George Burnell of Portland; sister-in-law, Priscilla Belanger of Fairfax, Va.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Edward.
