PORTLAND – Maurice “Moe” J. Daigle, 53, of Norridgewock, died with his family by his side at Maine Medical Center on May 18, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Mexico, Aug. 28, 1954, the son of Maurice O. and Patricia A. (Bradley) Daigle. He graduated from Mexico High School in 1972. Moe married Annette M. Goodine on July 27, 1985, in Skowhegan.
He worked for Orisol, USA, Inc. and traveled the world. He was a member of the American Legion and Legion Riders. He also played with Borderline Express Band and The Hamer Brothers Band.
He is survived by his wife, Annette Daigle of Norridgewock; two sons, Jeremiah and wife, Monica, of Waterville and Zachariah of Norridgewock; a daughter, Mariah of Fairfield; a very special mother-in-law, Eileen Goodine; his parents, Maurice O. and Patricia Daigle of Rumford; a brother, Ted Daigle of Mexico; four sisters, Gloria Patneaude of Rumford, Brenda Poirier and Bridget Malchisky of Peru and Debbie Varnum of Carthage; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
