LEWISTON – Linda Booth, 68, passed away early Wednesday, May 28, at her home in Lewiston.
She was born on March 9, 1940, in Biddeford, the daughter of Michael and Pauline Mariello. She graduated from Biddeford High School, where she was active in athletics and dance. She attended Springfield College and there met her future husband.
In 1960, she married Robert Booth, and they moved to Rutland, Vt. In 1963, they moved to Auburn, where he taught biology and coached basketball at Edward Little High School.
She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend. She was always active and supportive of her two sons’ numerous activities. Family always came first and she was happiest while being with family and friends. She spent many wonderful summers at Fortunes Rocks Beach in Biddeford, and had a great fondness for the beaches and coastline of Southern Maine.
She is sadly missed by her husband, Robert, and her mother, Pauline, of Lewiston; her two sons, Jeffrey of Lewiston and Michael of Scarborough; a daughter-in-law, Marcie and her grandson, Matthew, of Scarborough.
