RANGELEY – Rangeley Friends of the Arts spring music recital was held May 22 when 22 performers filled the Church of the Good Shepherd with music.

The RFA’s student lesson program assists the youth of the Rangeley region by offering partial underwriting of their lesson fees each year.

Mike Schrader’s students demonstrated their skill on saxophone and violin. Sue Downes-Borko’s piano students ranged in age from the youngest at 5 to a couple of “retirees,” who are taking up the challenge of playing the piano. The audience was filled with family and friends.

The music included songs by Scott Joplin, JS Bach, Tchaikovsky and an original piece composed and played by Ross Richards.

Performers included Tyler Crosby, David Bachelder, Eva McMillan, Kerry McMillan, Seve DeRaps, Blake Morin, Shelby Elmes, Don Miller, Brooke Egan, Natalie Brooks, Olivia Hall, Sophie Chu-O’Neil, Maddison Egan, Les Hoekstra, Jocelyn Stevens, Ross Richards, Casco Haley, Ellie Brooks, Haley Morrill, Leah Stevens, Amelia McMillan and Sabrina Castle.
