LEBANON, N.H. – Lola Janet Plummer, 73, of 2 Manor Drive, Claremont, N.H. 03573, died Thursday, May 29, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, after a long illness.

She was born in Pownal, March 4, 1935, a daughter of Maurice and Rebecca Ringrose Turcotte. She attended Freeport schools and graduated from Freeport High in 1953.

She was a member of the St. Matthew Episcopal Church in Lisbon Falls, Rebekah Lodge of Lisbon and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 66 of Lisbon.

She loved her husband, children and her family and enjoyed knitting, quilting, making dolls and visiting with her friends. She will be remembered for her love of cooking and hosting family gatherings.

She is survived by her husband, Keith A. Plummer Sr. of Claremont, N.H.; two daughters, Denise M. Cornish and husband, Roland, of Claremont, N.H., and Rebecca D. Gracie and husband, Jeffrey C., of Washington; a son, Keith A. Plummer Jr. and wife, Dawn M., of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Brandi and Will Douglass, Hailie and Brian DeCelle, Meghan Small and Katie and Bridgette Plummer; five great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Liam, Amelia, Aiden and Ruby; three brothers and their spouses, Maurice P. and Jeannine Turcotte of Lewiston, Ronald W. and Patricia Turcotte of Lisbon Falls and Dennis and Maureen Turcotte of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the medical staff that took such wonderful care of her. There will be a reception following the committal at St. Matthew’s Church.
