BELGRADE – Crystal Lee Cunningham, 17, a resident of Warren Road, Monmouth, went home to be with the Lord, May 31, in Belgrade.

She was born Jan. 31, 1991, in Augusta, the daughter of Michael T. Pelletier and Bonita Cunningham Gagne. Crystal was a student at Monmouth Academy, as well as home schooled.

She had high hopes to become an emergency medical technician. She was a dietary aide at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Crystal was a member of the North Monmouth Community Church and an active member of the Youth Group, Neura of Maine. Crystal enjoyed spending time with her friends, also spending time at camp in The Forks, walking at the ocean collecting sand dollars and she also loved cooking with her father. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was compassionate, had a beautiful smile for everyone and dearly loved her family and the Lord.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Bonita and Ronald Gagne, of Monmouth; her father, Michael T. Pelletier of Gardiner; a brother, Nathan Gagne of Monmouth; grandparents, Wayne and Donna Lee Cunningham of Chelsea and Ed and Flora Pelletier of Gardiner; great-grandmother, Patricia Cunningham of Gardiner; uncles, John Cunningham and his wife, Tanya, of Canton and Gary Pelletier and his wife, Mindi, of Gardiner; many great-aunts, uncles and cousins; many close friends; and the family pets.

She was predeceased by her great-grandfather, Vernon Cunningham.
