LEWISTON – Elizabeth M. Chickering, 63, of Canton, died Saturday, May 31, at the Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Rumford, on Jan. 28, 1945, a daughter of Buddy and Marie (Turbide) Hickey.

For many years, she worked as a licensed practical nurse in Florida.

She had a deep love for her family and will be missed.

Survivors include her stepfather, William Martin of Rumford; daughters, Krista Whidden and companion, Dwane Duchaine, of Ocala, Fla., and Kimberly Ball and husband, Raymond, of Ocala, Fla.; sons, William Seavey of Arcadia, Fla., Buddy Seavey of Tallahassee, Fla., Kevin Seavey and companion, Ann-Marie Whitehead, of Ocala, Fla., Kenneth Seavey of Dixfield and Donald Chickering and companion, Tara Amburg, of Rumford; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
