WATERVILLE – A Breast Cancer Awareness Quilt Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at the Pleasant Street United Methodist Church, 61 Pleasant St.
Admission will be a $5 donation with age 16 and under free with a paid adult.
There will be quilts of all sizes and kinds and a “Breast Cancer Affects All People Bra Exhibit.”
Vendors will be on hand, there will be a silent auction, Viewer’s Choice Award and door prizes. Quilts and handcrafts will also be for sale.
Proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer 3-Day, a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. The PSUMC Pink PANTers will walk in the Boston Breast Cancer 3-Day Aug. 15 to 17.
