LEWISTON – St. Mary’s Health System celebrates the launch of three new projects with a groundbreaking ceremony on June 4 beginning at 10:30 a.m. outside the St. Mary’s Emergency Department entrance.

The new projects include an expansion to the emergency department, a renovation of the transitional rehab unit at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion, and an outpatient medical facility building in Auburn.

The ceremony to commemorate these three endeavors will include third-graders from Trinity Catholic School as a symbol of the investment in the future. The children will join in prayer by helping with a special blessing of the builders and blessing of the land.

A capital campaign is currently under way to help make this new construction possible. The With All Our Hearts Capital Campaign has raised more than $3.2 million toward meeting the goal of $4.5 million.
