FARMINGTON – Some country music and some oldie favorites were played in Meetinghouse Park on Tuesday as people sat, some eating lunch, while listening to free live music by Seminole Wind members Jeff and Donna Wells, and Arizona Rose musician Sandy Waite Haskell.
The performers, classmates at Farmington High School, developed their musical talents later in life and combined for a concert in Florida this past winter. They then decided to give hometown Farmington brown-bag lunch concerts this summer.
This was the first of six appearances. They will also appear from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m in the park on June 17, July 1 and 15, and Aug. 5 and 19, weather permitting, Waite said.
