BRIDGTON – Hundreds of antique and classic cars will converge on Shawnee Peak this weekend for a two-day event.
The show, which is being put on by the Pleasant Mountain chapter of the Maine Obsolete Auto League, kicks off on Saturday with a two-hour cruise, beginning at 5 p.m.
Registration for show vehicles will take place Sunday from 8 to 10 a.m., and the show will go on until 3 p.m.
Admission is $3, although children under the age of 12 can attend for free.
Pre-registration of cars costs $5, while on-site registration costs $8. A portion of the proceeds goes toward a scholarship for a Lake Region High School graduate continuing his or her education in the automotive industry.
A best in show award will be presented, and awards will be given for 15 different auto classes.
