ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Reine C. Perkins, 94, died May 12, at Apollo Health and Rehab Center.

She came to St. Petersburg in 1983, from Washington, D.C., where she was a nurse for the Department of Veterans Affairs and a school nurse. She also served in the South Pacific as an Army nurse during World War II.

She was a member of Holy Family Church and Village Green Mobile Home Park, St. Petersburg.

She is survived by a sister, Candide Leblanc of Lewiston; a sister and brother-in-law, Odette and Louis Fournier of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased recently by her husband, Norman.
