If I were asked to describe Larry Gilbert in a few words, they would be: integrity, trustworthiness, honesty and dedication. As a long-time friend, I can truly attest to that description without hesitation.

Being a lifelong citizen of Lewiston, I have seen many mayors come and go, but never before have I seen such an active, involved and hardworking mayor.

His dedication and commitment to the citizens have been exemplary and truly admirable.

A pillar of this community, he has been working to make this a better place to live. He has been making himself available to communicate with his constituents whether it be “coffee with the mayor,” reading to young schoolchildren, a Web site where anyone can communicate with him and numerous other initiatives that rarely existed before.

I support Larry Gilbert for state representative, as he will fight for all of us in Augusta.
